You'll find our pousada to be on a marvelous Beach, created by the waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The sound of the waves and the cool breeze will make you forget the smog and cold the moment you get there. Right in front there is a fine place for fishing with a good chance, that you'll come back bringing a taste meal from the ocean.

Barra do Cunhaú offers a variety of boat trips, due to the bay and the mangrove, created by the river Curimataú and the ocean. These tours are meant to show you the beauty of the nature around and specially the part that they call here the “manguezal”, where the roots of this most typical kind of vegetation that grow under the water, offer protection to little fishes and other animals during there growth.

The albast colored sand invites you to undertake long and healthy walks, so you might know nearby villages like the small fisherman's port Baia Formosa and Pipa beach, the place to party and dance all night through.

After crawling and partying you'll find the best places to withdraw and relax in one of the pousada's of Barra do Cunhaú, like the Pousada Recanto dos Coqueiros, where the cool winds of the Atlantic, where Barra do Cunhaú is famous for, will balance your hammock in the shade of a coconut tree.

The pousada offers all the comfort to make sure that you'll have your bit of the best that live has to offer in a quiet and familiar surrounding. Our rooms offer you space and a sensation of well being and all of them provide a refrigerator, ventilator, shower with warm and cold water and a toilet. The veranda serves as tv-room, a place to meet each other and to inform yourself about what's going on in the world, that place so far away from the piece and quietness of this paradise.

The restaurants nearby not only offer local specialties, but also plates that are oriented on the international cuisine, so everybody will finds his favorites and all around are little “barracas”, that offer fried fish, pastries and other snacks.  And of course you can order our delicious Brazilian and Italian dishes, fish, meat, massa and pizza's specially prepared for you in our own kitchen, if you don't feel like going out.

The extensive and tasty breakfast, offering a wide variety of tropical fruits, served on the veranda  with the ocean as a natural background, is included in the price.

Transport: There is a bus stop in front of the pousada, so can get everywhere by public transport. We are always there to accompany you if you wish, by car or by cab.
